Lead II - DevOps Engineering

• Lead end-to-end migration of repositories and CI/CD pipelines from ADO and other SCMs to GitHub Enterprise.
• Design and implement GitHub Actions workflows, YAML pipeline conversion, and migration automation.
• Provide technical leadership for migration platforms, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Review solution designs, APIs, security, observability, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless migration and CI/CD validation.
• Drive repository optimization, branch strategy, permissions mapping, and workflow modernization.
• Mentor engineering teams, conduct code/design reviews, and resolve complex migration challenges.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading GitHub Enterprise migration projects.
• Strong expertise in GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Repos & Pipelines.
• Experience migrating from Perforce, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar SCM tools.
• CI/CD pipeline migration, YAML workflow translation, and secrets management.
• Strong knowledge of Git, repository management, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Automation using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with GitHub APIs, Azure DevOps REST APIs, and migration tooling.
