Testing Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Testing Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. As part of our QA team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, usability, and performance of our software products. You should have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements and define test strategies for web and mobile applications. 

• Manual Testing: Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing on web and mobile apps to identify defects and ensure feature quality. 

• Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency. 

• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. 

• Performance & Usability Testing: Conduct performance and usability testing to ensure applications meet high standards of speed, responsiveness, and user experience. 

• Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing: Test across different browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility and responsiveness. 

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies. 

Requirements: 

• Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in manual testing for both web and mobile platforms. 

• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent. 

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail). 

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and SDLC. 

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation is a plus. 

• Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests in the pipeline is a bonus. 

• Soft Skills: 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). 

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). 

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
