Job Description
- Deploy, configure, and manage application stacks on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
- Support end-to-end containerized application deployment across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Create and maintain deployment manifests, Helm charts, templates, ConfigMaps, Secrets, routes, services, and persistent volume configurations.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools for automated build, deployment, promotion, and rollback.
- Coordinate release deployments, environment promotions, application validations, and post-deployment checks.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, pod issues, image pull errors, networking issues, storage issues, pipeline failures, and application runtime errors.
- Work with developers and operations teams to onboard applications to OpenShift and improve deployment reliability.
- Automate repetitive deployment and operational activities using Shell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
- Monitor application health, logs, resource utilization, and platform events to support incident resolution and service availability.
- Maintain deployment runbooks, SOPs, configuration documents, release notes, and operational handover documents.
