Data Engineer

• Apple Ads Engineering team is a diverse, global, agile engineering team that moves smart and fast by consuming and optimizing readily available technology. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of robust big data pipelines, helping ensure efficient data exposure to consumers. Minimum Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in software development in a Java/Linux environment, including hands-on experience building data services or pipelines
• Proficient in Data Engineering concepts across batch and/or streaming
• Solid hands-on experience with Spark or similar distributed data processing frameworks
• Strong programming skills in Java or Scala
• Experience with Cloud Services like EKS, Kubernetes, etc.
• Ability to automate manual tasks to achieve efficiency
• Experience with one or more databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Snowflake, Cassandra, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams
