Software Engineer

Direct Responsibilities

·       To deliver daily / weeks builds

·       UAT / DEV environments Support

·       Deployment of the application in application servers

·       Source code control tool administration

·       Change management activities

·       Process automation using scripting languages

·       Maintaining multiple tools (NREG and other internal) used in project development

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry will be a plus

·       Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects

Technical competency in the following:

Proficiency in:

·       Shell UNIX / Linux & Python

·       Knowledge any build tool such as Ant/ Maven (Mandatory).

·       GITLAB/GITHUB

·       Jenkins 

·       Job scheduling tools (Optional )

·       Java (Optional)

·       SQL/PLSQL

·       Knowledge of at least one application server (Tomcat, WebLogic preferred)

·       Docker, Kubernetes

·       Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask, proactive, and strong organization skills

·       Inclination to understand and learn application/business functionality

·       Fast learner & a team player

·       Attention to detail, disciplined and reliable

·       High motivation and confidence levels

Specific Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

3+ years professional experience
