Job Description
Application Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using modern full-stack technologies.
- Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
Cloud Engineering
- Participate in cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Support scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.
DevSecOps & Quality
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop automated tests and promote code quality standards.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies where appropriate.
Production Support
- Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in application monitoring, incident response, and on-call support rotations.
- Ensure system reliability and operational excellence.
Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, architects, designers, and engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
AI-Enabled Development
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Support adoption of modern software engineering practices enabled by Generative AI technologies.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Front-end development experience using ReactJS and/or Angular.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and software engineering best practices.
Professional Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Proven ability to build and maintain enterprise-scale applications.
