Job Description
- Build Data Pipelines: Develop and optimize scalable end-to-end data pipelines (batch and real-time) for structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources (APIs, databases, logs, etc.).
- Data Modeling & Warehousing: Design and implement efficient, scalable, and intuitive data models and maintain data lakes for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Platform Ownership & Optimization: Take ownership of critical parts of our data platform. Proactively monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for cost, reliability, and speed.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement and advocate for data quality frameworks, data lineage, and governance best practices to ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of our data assets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Tooling & Innovation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to continuously improve our data ecosystem. Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.
