5+ years experience supporting enterprise application development, preferably in Java and / or C on Unix / Linux environments.
3+ years experience in a DevOps/SRE type role.
Solid understanding of the various phases of the software development lifecycle, and the principles of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Experience with automated build and deployment toolsets (Jenkins, Maven, Make, Helm, Ansible).
Experience with version control systems (ex. GIT, Bitbucket).
Familiarity with Linux and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible.
Experience with scripting languages like: Bash, Groovy, Python.
Experience with container and container management technologies (Docker).
Familiarity with containerization and/or container orchestration platforms (ex. Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS).
- Experience with Kubernetes, software-defined networking, availability zones, regions and region failover, managed services, PaaS, deployment automation supportability and operations on public cloud. Preference for Azure, but experience on others would be considered.
