Senior QE/Test Engineer

- Strong experience in test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript for test automation development and maintenance.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for modern web applications.
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
- Experience with API testing tools and automated frameworks for developing repeatable integration tests.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Experience in end-to-end testing, browser automation, and customer journey validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality.
- Validate REST APIs, backend services, and system integrations using appropriate API testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and release validation.
- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Analyze application logs, monitoring data, telemetry, and test evidence to identify and diagnose issues.
- Manage test data and test environments to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders in Agile environments to define test strategies and ensure quality deliverables.
- Prepare test reports, document test results, and communicate quality risks and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for developing and maintaining automated tests.
- Experience in web application testing, browser automation, and end-to-end test execution.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing, backend validation, and integration testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated test execution within deployment pipelines.
- Experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting application issues.
- Knowledge of test data management, environment management, and release validation practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
