Job Description
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, new features, and configuration changes
- Validate system functionality against documented business requirements, acceptance criteria, and credit policy guidelines
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including positive, negative, and edge case scenarios
- Perform system testing (end-to-end, integration, and regression) to ensure application stability, performance, and reliability across multiple components
- Test and validate Web APIs and services, including RESTful APIs, ensuring correct request/response handling, data integrity, authentication, authorization, and error handling
- Validate credit and underwriting configurations, such as policy rules, score thresholds, pricing, tiering, and eligibility logic
- Confirm underwriting outcomes align with approved business intent and policy documentation
- Identify, document, and track defects or configuration issues, clearly outlining reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to support defect triage, retesting, and regression testing
- Provide clear testing updates, defect summaries, and UAT feedback to stakeholders
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes, documentation, and quality standards
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
