Job Description
- Should be creative and proactive thinker to develop/maintain extensible automation scripts/assets confirming to industry best practices and applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing
- Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed, and test environments used.
- Develop and maintain reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of the test scripts.
- Should be involved and contribute in automation framework design.
- Work with the Development team to understand and challenge application design, capture and reuse automated Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects to deliver a reusable, easy to maintain UAT test automation pack.
- Hands-on software development
- Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings
- Strong communication with stakeholders
- Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
- Train other team members to bring them up to speed
