Job Description
- Design and develop scalable, containerized microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Take ownership of backend features from solution design and implementation through testing and deployment.
- Develop and integrate RESTful services and APIs for application and platform requirements.
- Build solutions that are suitable for Docker and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Work with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including application-level database integration and data management.
- Develop and maintain integrations with distributed and event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to performance and reliability improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers within the team.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, development planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control practices, and established engineering processes.
