Job Description
- Build and manage AWS accounts, environments, IAM, security baselines, tagging, and governance.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS CloudFront distributions, caching, origins, Origin Shield, failover, and CDN configurations.
- Develop and maintain CloudFront Functions and Lambda@Edge using Node.js/JavaScript.
- Configure and manage AWS WAF managed/custom rules, rate-based rules, IP sets, and bot-management controls.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate AWS infrastructure deployments using HCP Terraform.
- Automate CloudFront, WAF, Lambda@Edge, Route 53, ACM, and related AWS services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and HCP Terraform.
- Implement SAST, security scanning, peer reviews, and DevSecOps practices.
- Troubleshoot AWS networking, including VPC, routing, Route 53, security groups, DNS, TLS/mTLS, and origin connectivity.
- Create CloudWatch and/or QuickSight dashboards for traffic, cache performance, latency, WAF activity, and system health.
- Develop operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and migration playbooks.
- Support Akamai-to-AWS CloudFront migration and standardize migration processes through automation .
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices across infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS CloudFront.
- Hands-on experience with CloudFront Functions and Lambda@Edge.
- Strong knowledge of AWS WAF.(AWS WAF stands for AWS Web Application Firewall.)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / HCP Terraform.
- Strong Node.js / JavaScript skills.
- Knowledge of Python and Bash is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPC, Route 53, DNS, routing, ACM/TLS/mTLS, and security groups.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with CloudWatch and/or QuickSight.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, secrets management, security, and least-privilege access.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid AWS Associate-level certification is mandatory: Solutions Architect – Associate, Developer – Associate, or SysOps Administrator – Associate.
