SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Java

• Design end-to-end Spring Boot microservices with clean architecture and domain-driven design.
• Define API contracts, schemas, and integration patterns
• Lead performance tuning, scalability improvements, and resiliency designs.
• Implement advanced patterns:
  circuit breakers, retries/backoff, distributed tracing, idempotency.
• Integrate with AWS services: RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, MSK/Kafka.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scans, and rollouts.
• Build observability: metrics, logs, tracing dashboards.
• Perform code reviews, mentor juniors, and drive engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions.
• Debug live production issues alongside SRE/DevOps teams.

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• >10 years backend experience, with deep expertise in Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture & distributed systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience
• Skilled in designing resilient systems and performance tuning.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka/SQS/SNS).
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL background.
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins).
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry etc).
• Ability to lead design sessions and mentor developers.
• Used to working in global environment and should be adaptable to learn new skills and follow industry trends.
