Job Description
In this role, you will:
- CI/CD Pipeline: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity/Jenkins and version control systems like GitHub, JIRA, SonarQube and Nexus for ensuring seamless integration and delivery processes.
- Containerisation: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or podman and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Configuration Management: Use Ansible to automate, deploy artifacts and configuration settings across various environments.
- Scripting: Write and maintain scripts using Python, Bash and PowerShell or any other programming language to automate tasks, integrate systems, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Observability: Experience with implementing and managing monitoring, observability, and alerting tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure comprehensive visibility into system performance and reliability.
- Production: Manage production systems with proactive incident handling and change management practices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to align DevOps processes with business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written English and oral communication skills.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role and experience with build and deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and cloud-native development and deployment practices.
- Automate workflows and identify opportunities for continuous optimization.
- Experience in Infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- General Enterprise Technical Aptitude: OS, networks, Servers, load balancing, storage, etc
- Awareness of security best practices in both software and infrastructure development.
- Fixing Vulnerability issues across infrastructure and applications.
