Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines ensuring smooth deployments and rollback mechanisms.
- Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS / Azure cloud platforms.
- Work with containerized environments (Docker) and manage workloads on Kubernetes (production environments).
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Ensure infrastructure security, patching, compliance, and access control.
- Perform infrastructure scaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline release processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in AWS or Azure (minimum 2–3 years).
- AWS and Azure are preferred as primary cloud platforms; exposure to multi-cloud environments is a plus.
- Strong experience in infrastructure management and provisioning in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Solid scripting skills (Bash/Shell/Python/PowerShell).
- Strong experience with Docker (containers).
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
- Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Understanding of security best practices (IAM, secrets management, patching).
