Test Automation Engineer

As a test automation engineer for the Operational EHS Platform and Integration team, you will be part of a global, multidisciplinary team responsible for the development of an internal platform for daily use globally at BASF production facilities. 

You will develop programs that will test the accuracy and reliability of internally developed software solutions for each module during its initial development and on an ongoing basis, especially in advance of major updates/deployments. 

Drive automation coverage and quality for your modules (prioritization, maintainability, and reducing flaky tests). 

You will collaborate with members of the Operational EHS Solutions team to define test cases and ensure testing is comprehensive and accurate 

You will provide feedback to the full-stack developer team and provide recommendations for corrective approaches for any issues identified during the testing process. 

Own the test approach for your assigned modules, aligned with the globally defined strategy.
