Job Description
Azure Platform Management: Manage and optimize Azure platform services, including networking (vnet, nsg, DNS, routing, private endpoints, express route, VPN), storage, Azure policy, and Azure Monitor.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to automate deployment and management processes.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of Azure services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Azure services.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
Extensive Hands-on Azure Platform Experience:
Networking: Proficiency in configuring and managing virtual networks (vnet), network security groups (nsg), DNS, routing, private endpoints, express route, and VPN. This includes designing and implementing secure and scalable network architectures.
Storage: Experience with Azure storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Azure Files, and Disk Storage. Ability to manage storage accounts, configure access policies, and optimize storage performance and cost.
Azure Policy: Knowledge of Azure Policy to enforce organizational standards and assess compliance at-scale. Ability to create and manage policies to ensure resources are compliant with corporate governance.
Azure Monitor: Expertise in setting up and managing Azure Monitor to collect, analyze, and act on telemetry data from Azure resources. This includes configuring s, creating dashboards, and using Log Analytics for advanced monitoring and troubleshooting.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform:
Proficiency in using Terraform to define, deploy, and manage infrastructure as code. This includes writing and maintaining Terraform scripts, managing state files, and using modules to create reusable infrastructure components.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage Terraform code and collaborate with team members on infrastructure changes.
