Job Description
- Design, develop and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Develop and enhance scalable, component-based and Page Object Model automation frameworks
- Use tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Playwright Codegen and AI-assisted debugging solutions to support test design and script development
- Create automated test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and smoke testing
- Investigate test failures using Playwright traces, screenshots, logs, videos and AI-assisted analysis
- Implement resilient and self-healing automation approaches to reduce maintenance
- Develop Bash and PowerShell scripts for environment setup, execution, scheduling, reporting and CI/CD activities
- Configure, monitor and optimise Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML
- Participate in code reviews and promote automation coding standards and best practices
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners and testers during sprint activities
- Support test reporting and integrations with Azure DevOps, TestRail and Teams notifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on AI-driven QA and automation efficiency
