Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Snowflake across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, batch and near real time data processing workflows
- Establish, refine, and integrate development, CI/CD, orchestration, and monitoring tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Airflow, Databricks Jobs)
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust data architecture and technical designs
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance, especially for healthcare data
- Support production systems, participate in on call/application support, and handle critical incidents when required
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and platform modernization
- Generative AI & Advanced Techniques: Learn and apply GenAI building blocks such as RAG and prompt orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain); exposure to vector databases is a plus
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Software Engineering & APIs: Contribute to building and testing APIs (e.g., REST with FastAPI) and learn delivery fundamentals such as containers (Docker) and simple app frameworks (e.g., Flask/Streamlit) as needed
